Langhorne, PA – The Middletown Republican Committee has voted to endorse Kevin Glasson for Supervisor, Ray Chapman for Tax Collector and Cindy Aquaro for Auditor.
Glasson is a lifelong resident of Levittown, small business owner and volunteer member of the Levittown Fire Company #2. “Whether it was running my business or working to keep families safe, I’ve always put our community first. As a member of the Board of Supervisors, my mission will be to ensure Middletown makes the investments for our future, protects our taxpayers from wasteful spending and continues to be a great place to live, work and raise a family.” Said Glasson.
Incumbent Ray Chapman is seeking his third term as Tax Collector. Under his tenure property liens were reduced by 20% and his office has made broad efforts to engage the community and provide more accessibility for the residents of Middletown. These efforts include the creation of Saturday hours, field events at senior communities and providing a pickup service for the disabled and elderly. Chapman is a small business owner, a member of the Bucks County Redevelopment Authority Board and regularly works to raise money for Children’s Cancer Research.
Aquaro was raised in the Twin Oaks Section of Levittown, small business owner and active member of the Lions Club. On her candidacy, Aquaro said the following: “After raising my family and growing my business, I’m proud of our community and excited about its future. I look forward to serve Middletown as its next Auditor.”
“We have a great slate of successful small business people and committed community servants running in Middletown this year,” said Nancy McCann, Middletown Republican Committee Chairwoman. “Our candidates have raised families here, know what it takes to create jobs and understand how to develop consensus among a broad group of individuals. Together they will work tirelessly for our neighbors”
